Like millions of individuals across the world, I was glued to the TV these past two weeks watching the 2012 Summer Olympics. The athleticism, the stories, and the competition can really inspire a person. Maybe that's why the Olympics are such a global phenomena. We cheer for our countries and the athletes that represent us. And each of these athletes have a great story. You look at what some had to overcome just to be part of these games. If you watched, I'm sure you're aware of the story of Oscar Pistorius, or the path of Bryshon Nellum. Those are just two athletes that have had to overcome amazing odds to be part of these Olympics. But they, like all the athletes that participated provide a great story of inspiration and motivation. Their stories can be used as motivation in our own lives. They may be competing in an athletic event for their current profession, but they are dedicating their lives to being their best. There's a lesson to be learned by each of these athletes. We're all athletes, we all know that at the end of the day, when we give our best we have a sense of accomplishment. That feeling can carry over into every aspect of our life. So remember their stories and what they had to do to get to where they are. Give your best and the feeling of accomplishment will last a lifetime. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have my own story to write.
